I'm 29 and am an Environmental Engineer. My biggest hobbies are photography (amateur with a capital A) and triathlons but I also have a great love for the outdoors. I am currently training for my first Ironman - Ironman Florida on November 6, 2010.

This shot is stunning! I have been browsing through your pictures and I think for the most part the only thing that would take the pictures from everyday snapshots to art is composition. Like for example when taking pictures of kids it is best to get down to their level (yep close to the ground... sometimes even laying on the groud) Move around and try taking a shot from a number of different angles, Hopefully this helps a little.
